We have various Medication Management and Adherence Programs available at Myrtle Street Pharmacy to make taking medicines safer and easier with the ultimate goal of achieving optimal effectiveness from each of your prescribed medicines. It aims to support the quality use of medicines, reduce adverse effects and associated hospital admissions and medical presentations at the local doctor.

Medication Management Programs (MMP) conducted at Myrtle Street Pharmacy includes Home Medicine Reviews (HMR), MedsCheck and Diabetes MedsCheck and the Medication Adherence Programs available are Clinical Interventions, Staged Supply and Dose Administration Aids (webster/blister packs).

The above mentioned programs are free to all eligible people, so if you think you may benefit from any of these programs come and see us.

Dose Administration Aids is of particular importance in people who are experiencing difficulties in managing their medicines due to various reasons like language or physical and cognitive disabilities or people taking five or more medicines and again having difficulties with remembering when and why they take their medicines.

As pharmacists we truly understand the confusion that may arise with the names of drugs and the multiple brands associated with each particular drug, what each drug is for and when and how best to take them. However, all is not lost as
