Crutches, Wheelchairs and Nebulisers for hire

Looking for crutches, a wheelchair or a nebuliser to use short term? You've come to the right place.

We have two types of crutches for hire, the underarm crutch (or axillary) and the forearm crutch (Lofstrand, elbow or Canadian). For short-term use it's a matter of an individual's preference.

Upon hiring our staff at Myrtle Street Pharmacy will make sure that you are confident with the correct & safe use of your hired item.

Our Delivery Service

Our delivery service is run on the basis of helping our customers and the local community maintain timely access to their prescribed medicines to ensure continuation of therapy. Hence we will only deliver to you if it is an emergency where you or anyone you may know cannot come to the pharmacy for any reason. Our staff are sacrificing their time after work to do these deliveries and it would be unjust if we cannot deliver to everyone in real need.

We mainly deliver to the elderly, people living alone, those currently ill with the flu, Covid-19 or other conditions preventing them from leaving their home and those recently discharged from hospital. If you fall into these categories then feel free to contact us, we would gladly deliver to make sure you take your medicine(s) on time without a break.

Deliveries usually occur after closing time (7 pm Mon-Fri and 2 pm on Sunday). We do not deliver on Saturdays.

Please do not call us unless it is an absolute emergency or last resort.
